Currently a PhD student in study and practice of the arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada, I acquire the DNSEP (French Master’s degree) with congratulations at Haute école des Arts du Rhin in France. My doctoral project questions the phenomenology of technology, which will embodies in a dialogue between East and West through an interactive digital fresco; the project aims to make a cross- cultural comparison, valuing subjectivity of the human towards the formal systems, and finally to suggest and initiate an alternative culture of the image and the visual arts.
I discuss many times in my work the metaphysical, philosophical and religious questions, as I interrogate the culture through my work, which is also a driving force, by what means it interacts vis-à-vis the society in every different civilization, every different period.
I challenge the rejection of artistic creation from the Platonism or elitism, or the prejudices from the premodern societies, regardless western or eastern. I try to show incidentally the power structure in my work, as Pierre Bourdieu states — the value of a piece of art and a culture, based on continual struggles. This fight for me is a countercurrent of an individual in relation to the community. Between the ignored whispers and the call of the economy, it’s a seesaw battle.
Often my works are the remaining bodies of this type of struggle. I'm interested in the phase of transition. I dream for the transcendental consideration in the modern soul, through different types of drawing. As a creation clings directly to the mortal body, the art of drawing, with its constant alertness in human society, it will never be eliminated by the digital revolution.
